California Science Center


The California Science Center is pleased to offer the following free videoconferences through the State Library's Windows on the World project. (Program offerings from other museums are available at http://www.windowsontheworld.org/programGuide.html)

Transport your young patrons from the library to the California Science Center the electronic way! Engage them in hands-on curriculum enhancement experiences via a realtime interactive video connection. These standards-aligned program packets include pre- and post-activities for students as well as an orientation to familiarize teachers with the technology and content

We offer the following Think SCIENCE! programs as videoconferences:

--Olympic Building Team involves students in an investigation of basic structures and shapes through a high-energy theater and movement program.
(Grades 2-5)

--Your Insides Out uses our exhibit, "Blood and Hearts" in the World of Life

Gallery, to explore the heart and the human circulatory system.
(Grades
3-6)
